AWCF meets on the first and third Fridays of the month. The first Friday is a luncheon and program, and the third Friday, the AWCF Board meets and the luncheon and program follow.

A gourmet lunch is served in the Tiffany Dining room on the fourth Wednesday of each month ( excluding August and December).

Book Group
Members gather monthly to discuss books. Every summer a book list evolves from suggestions from members.Literature Book Group
Members gather monthly to discuss selections of literary fiction. -
On the last Friday of each month, members embark on interesting excursions and lunch in and around Abilene.

Groups of AWCF members coordinate to attend together various civic, cultural, and travel opportunities that arise in the community.
